The Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide For Her1.12.15
It's December 1st and in my head that means it's basically Christmas already and boy am I excited about it!
As I was sitting down to write my annual christmas wishlist, I decided that I wanted to put together some of my favourite gift options for the festive season to share and hopefully inspire some of you eager Christmas shoppers - So may I present to you my Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide. In doing this, I've aimed to cater for ladies (or men if you fancy!) that love a variety of products, mostly beauty with a few lifestyle bits thrown in for good measure. Everything in this guide of mine is classed as luxury/high end however, there are only two items that are actually over the £40 mark!
FOR THE GIRL WHO LOVES TO BATHE:
I'm a sucker for anything bath related, and when I set my eyes on this fantastic little duo I couldn't help but include it in my gift guide. This would be perfect for any lovely lady who loves to pamper, but can't justify spending too much on herself. This nifty little set includes a body souffle along with LM's signature honey bath and dipper; perfect for a pamper sesh - without breaking the bank. And with a smell as yummy as Creme Brulee, what's not to love? Laura Mercier have nailed it this year with the gift sets - go check them out!
FOR THE CANDLE LOVER:
It's safe to say I'm candle obsessed, but splurging £40 on a candle is something that even I am not prepared to do. I've been a fan of Neom candles for the longest time, and the travel sized candles (75g) that they sell are the perfect gift for someone special. Each candle contains essential oils with aromatherapeutic qualities which help to bring happiness, energy and calm to (s)he who burns it. These candles are beautifully packaged and are a treat to anyone who opens them.
FOR THE GIRL WHO LOVES TO GLOW:
As an aspiring makeup artist and general lover of all things beauty, I'm quite sad to admit that I've never owned anything Becca cosmetics up until recently. Becca came out with this adorable pint sized highlight kit which I couldn't help but pick up after seeing the amazing price point. During the winter, it's great to inject some glow back into the complexion and this kit is the perfect way to do just that, alongside being a great introduction to the brand.
FOR THE SKINCARE OBSESSER:
My jaw literally dropped to the floor when I was browsing Cult Beauty and came across this dreamy little bargain. Emma Hardie is renowned for her incredible skincare products and this christmas bauble containing her statement cleansing balm, along with a mini muslin, is enough to make any skincare fanatic swoon. At such a glorious price, this is a great gift for anybody.
FOR THE MAKEUP LOVER:
MAKEUP BRUSHES (ZOEVA + MAC)
The brushes in the photo are just a taster of the huge array of brushes that have graced the makeup world. For anyone who loves beauty, brushes are a staple piece of kit to have and if I received some as a gift I know I'd be over the moon! Brushes are a great gift choice if you're not wanting to spend too much, but at the same time still want to get something of quality. Zoeva, Morphe and Crown brushes sell some great quality kit for an even greater price!
FOR THE GIRL WHO'S FASHION FORWARD:
Evidently this gift is on the higher end of the price scale, nonetheless it is perfect for someone you care about. Watches, I feel, are an underrated accessory in the fashion world. I find that a watch can really make or break an outfit, and Daniel Wellington watches are perfect. They have an androgynous, smart yet elegant look to them and are completely timeless (pardon the pun) - meaning they'll always be in style. You can get 15% off at www.danielwellington.com using the code 'isabellekate' until January 15th.
FOR THE BUDDING PHOTOGRAPHER:
Again another more expensive buy, but I can honestly say that my polaroid camera is the best investment I've made in a long long time. I've been able to capture some incredible memories with some equally as beautiful camera shots. So for anybody you know that loves a quick snap, a polaroid would be the most thoughtful gift. I have the white camera and it also doubles up as a lovely shelf accessory when I'm not using it!
A few more gifts that might tickle your fancy:
There you have it, I tried not to ramble on too much but I hope you get the gist of what I was going for here. I tried to cater for as many people as I could, with gifts that I know my friends and family would love to receive - as well as I. I hope I've encouraged some of you to get festive, and I'm excited to say there's plenty more Christmas related posts coming your way!
What's on your christmas list this year?
