My Current Beauty Wishlist

1.2.16

Seeing as I've never done a wishlist post before, I thought what better a time to do one than at the beginning of a new month and after payday. I know that personally, I love finding out what products other beauty bloggers are currently craving, as it helps to introduce me to new products, as well as fulfilling the nosiness in me! Because of this simple fact, I decided to share a few of the items that are on the top of my 'to buy' list and, hopefully, things that will be in my collection soon enough.

I don't know about you, but I think I've heard just about every man and his dog talk about this particular foundation. Over the past few months this foundation has been raved into oblivion and is supposedly a one-step solution to glowy skin - sounds lush, right? I have to say, the only reason this probably isn't already in my makeup collection is the sheer price of the stuff, as beautiful as it may look, I'm very picky when it comes to spending money. Could February be the month I take the plunge?

When it comes to eyeliner, I've tried just about every type of the stuff you could imagine; gel, liquid, cream, felt tip, you name it - I've done it. And, as much as I love the stuff I've never been able to stray far from my NYC Liquid Liner, but I see Kat's liner everywhere and I don't know how much longer I can resist.

Since seeing Kristen Leanne use a killer combo of this concealer to CONTOUR, yes you heard me right, this concealer has been on the top of my wishlist. As well as being a supposedly amazing concealer (well duh), it's water based consistency makes it great for blending out a natural contour when a darker shade is used - NEED.

When I think of makeup in the winter months, my mind automatically goes to deep wine coloured lips and, ever since their release a while ago, I've wanted to get my mitts on this lippy in particular. To me, this screams winter chic and it's about time I invested in a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick.

I don't know if this technically counts as a beauty item, but I thought I'd throw it in as it's a scent I've been lusting after ever since I first smelled it. I don't have an extensive perfume collection, but I'm slowly but surely building it up and this is a scent I'd love to be in there. I need a sensual perfume in my life!

Ever since I've watched YouTube videos and read blogs, it's become very apparent that hourglass is a brand to look into. As of yet, I don't own any Hourglass products but I've always had my eyes on their ambient lighting palettes; this palette would be the perfect way for me to experiment with the brand and their products!

I can't remember where I first saw this moisturiser, but this year for me is the year of skincare and Origins is on the top of my list to try. This moisturiser is supposedly amaZING (oh god, I'm such a dork) at hydrating the skin, and in the winter months moisture is definitely something my skin lacks.

I've never understood the world of toners in skincare, I mean what do they actually do? Saying that, though, the Pixi glow tonic caught my eye for two reasons; one: who doesn't want a glow? Two: this toner is supposedly a chemical exfoliant and, admittedly, I'm pretty shitty when it comes to exfoliating, so if I can find something that allows me to exfoliate easily - count me in.

I'd love to know, what's on your beauty wishlist?
