The Last Minute Mother's Day Gift Guide

23.2.16

Mother's day is just around the corner and I know that personally, I haven't got round to purchasing a present for my lovely mum yet. If anyone else likes to leave things until the very last minute like me, I've got a few gift ideas which might be perfect for your loved one. Of course, as with any gift guide, I won't have covered absolutely every possibility of gift ever, but I've tried to cover as many categories as I could for all the mums out there!

1. L'OCCITANE MUST-HAVE HAND CREAM DUO | £22
Throughout my childhood I would always see L'Occitane products around my house and there was always something by them in my mum and dad's bathroom. So, I thought I'd take a look at their gifts section and I was not dissapointed.
Hand cream is one of those things that people always forget to buy, I know that from personal experience! So why not pick up a gorgeous set, this is something that any mum would love. I mean, we all get dry hands at some point so it's gonna come in handy!

2. RIFLE PAPER CO 2016 PLANNER | £28
I know we're in February, but this really is the most beautiful planner I have ever seen, seriously. I know that because of my mum's job, she's always super busy with meetings and appointments and will always have her diary on her. So if, like my mum, yours is a busy bee, why not treat her to a planner that brings just a little bit of joy just by looking at it.
Rifle Paper Co also stock a variety of stationary which are drool-worthy which would make the most perfect gifts.

3. DIPTYQUE CANDLES
I'm a self diagnosed candle addict, and anyone who knows me will totally get that. I feel like candles are a failsafe present for any person in your life, but especially for mums. Diptyque carry such a variety of scents in a variation of sizes and prices, so you really can customise your gift to the person you're buying for. I love the roses scent, it's so classically beautiful and you really can't go wrong!

4. L'OCCITANE REVITALISING SHOWER DUO | £40
When browsing the gift section (again), I wanted to find a set that was more catered towards the bath/shower lover in your family. My mum takes baths every day without fail, so this would be the perfect present. The set contains a beautiful shower gel and body scrub, so is super for a quick pamper session.

5. JO MALONE PERFUME | £42/£85
Whenever I'm out shopping, I always gravitate towards the Jo Malone scent section. Their choice of scents is actually pretty overwhelming, but it's perfect if you're looking to buy a perfume which is extra personal. This is a more expensive buy, but a little goes a long way with Jo Malone scents, so it's something that will last for ages - plus, it looks beautiful just sat on a dressing table!

6. YVES SAINT LAURENT BLACK OPIUM MOTHER'S DAY SET | £64
YSL have brought out the most stunning set for mother's day I nearly dropped to the floor when I saw it! A combination of their infamous Black Opium perfume, a classic red lip and a beautiful wash bag. For the makeup loving mama, you can really hit the nail on the head with this one.

7. CHARLOTTE TILBURY K.I.S.S.I.N.G LIPSTICK 'BITCH PERFECT' | £23
If I really can't think of anything to buy for mother's day, which surprisingly happens quite a bit. I know that my failsafe option is a high end lipstick. My mum doesn't go a day without wearing lipstick, and she goes through them quicker than the average lady. So, this CT lipstick in 'Bitch Perfect' is the ideal everyday nude lippy. With its beautiful rose gold packaging, it really does make a beautiful present.

Thats it for my Mother's day picks, I hope I gave some of you some inspiration! I know I'll be getting my mum something from this list, and I also know she'll be reading this which means she'll have to play the guessing game (muahaha).
I hope you have a fantastic mothers day if you celebrate it. And for those of you who don't have anyone to celebrate it with, stay strong and you can always leave me a message!

What are you getting your Mum this year, if anything?

Love, Isabelle.
