Cohorted Beauty Box | August

I'm sat down writing this post in complete disbelief that it's already bloody SEPTEMBER! Where the time has gone I really do not know. But, with every month comes another *Cohorted beauty box to talk about, and August's edition is quite something.

let’s take a look…
NARS Andy Warhol Flowers III Palette, worth £45.00
Smith & Cult Nail Polish in xx, worth £19.00 (not pictured)
Nunzio Saviano Anti-Frizz Sheets, worth £14.00
Cohorted Ovali Brush, worth £18.99
Lancome Precious Cells Eye Cream, 2x 3ml tubes, worth £24.00

First and foremost is the Andy Warhol Eyeshadow Palette in 'Flowers 3' (£45). The packaging and all round execution of this product is absolutely breathtaking; with an intricate flower design incorporating each shade it's almost too pretty to touch - definitely a collectors item for anyone who loves Warhol and/or makeup. It's probably worth mentioning that this palette was in fact launched in 2012 but for me, this isn't a problem - a spade's a spade.

Next up is the Smith & Cult Polish in 'Regret the moon'. I currently have this painted on my tootsies and it's going strong! Unfortunately I left this in Portugal which is SUCH a nightmare and explains why I don't have it photographed, but it's a very unique icy grey. I'd never tried S&C nail polishes before so it was nice to try a completely new brand, and I love it!

This next product comes from a brand I've never heard of, until now of course. The Nunzio Saviano Anti-Frizz Sheets look extremely interesting and seem like the perfect solution to that summer humidity frizz that many of us know oh so well. There are 15 individually wrapped sheets which are super tiny and would be great for travel.

I was actually slightly disappointed to see this next product, the Cohorted Ovali Makeup Brush. My reasoning simply being that I really don't see the hype behind these Artis style applicators; now, that may be because I'm addicted to my beauty blender, but I just can't get to grips with them. However, I'll give this one a chance as it is extremely soft and dense which looks promising.

Last but not least are the Lancome Precious Cells Eye Cream, there are two 3ml samples in here which as I found out are actually worth a whopping £24 which seems cray cray. I myself would never purchase these, but I'm glad this box has given me the opportunity to try something I wouldn't have even considered before, let's hope they're good!

And that's all for August's beauty box, definitely worth its price tag and a super way to try out new beauty bits and bobs.
